Can't you just see joy and happiness illuminating his precious face? I cannot tell you how utterly thrilled he was to be going to school this morning. He got to bring his backpack! And pack his lunch! And wear his new school shoes! And I'm happy to report that his day lived up to the hype. He had a blast! The teachers were impressed at how well he did for his first day. Apparently there was a bit of a scuffle on the playground over a hula hoop that resulted in tears, but other than that, a great first day and he can't wait to go back tomorrow!
